Citroen Saxo VTS Upgrade Ignition Kit Stage 1The Citroen Saxo kit refers to all Saxo models including VTS that have two double ignition coils. This kit will remove the existing ignition cassette. A brand new and powerful MSD ignition coil will be used in place with spark plug wires.
The Citroen Saxo kit refers to all Saxo models including VTS that have two double ignition coils. This kit will remove the existing ignition cassette. A brand new and powerful MSD ignition coil will be used in place with spark plug wires. We provide you also the connector that you need for the new coil. The ignition upgrade kit is mandatory for vehicles that the existing ignition system is old, does not attribute the awaited performance or in case the engine has been restored or has been turbocharged, and needs more power to the spark.
Installation Steps
- Remove the old ignition coil system.
- Take the four wires that come up to the coil connector and merge the two wires that have 12 Volts constantly.
- Choose the place that you will install the coil and install it.
- Connect the coil connector to the old wiring. (the merged wires on the center the other wires on the ends of the connector.
- Plug in the spark plug wires to the coil the cut them to the appropriate length for each cylinder.
- Install the spark plug boots.
Note:Some of these steps have to be done by an expert.
