AEM EV’s VCU200 Tesla Swap The World!
Tesla swap the World! That’s the motto that AEM goes with, these days. And for a good reason, since VCU200 comprehensive control system for a Tesla LDU is now available for purchase. This combo, AEM EV’s VCU200 and Tesla LDU Inverter Control Board,is a thoroughly validated system that delivers OE-level safety, full vehicle control, and increased power.
This system eliminates the uncertainty and limitations of CAN-Spoofing control and hobby-level capabilities of Open-Source alternatives.
AEM EV’s LDU Inverter Control Board (PN 30-8402) replaces the OEM Tesla board in the LDU inverter and connects to the VCU200 over CAN bus. An adapter harness is included with the Inverter Control Board that provides a near plug & play connection except for sourcing 12V power and ground connections.
Check out the video, where engineed Nate Strewart explains how the AEM EV Tesla ICB intergrates into a 2007 Ford Munstang GT.
